Our DRC program is tailored to elementary students and is offered as both group and private tutoring sessions. Due to the nature of this type of tutoring we only offer in-person options.
We also provide private tutoring for dysgraphia and writing.
We use the Orton-Gilliingham approach, which is a direct, explicit, multisensory, structured, sequential, diagnostic, and prescriptive way to teach literacy when reading, writing, and spelling does not come easily to individuals, such as those with dyslexia.
Our DRC sessions are different from our other tutoring sessions as students purchase and use a workbook with the tutor throughout the sessions.
In order to enroll in one of our a dyslexia/reading comprehension programs, students must complete a placement test prior to the first session. Groups are determined by level placement.
Our dyslexia/reading comprehension tutors are all certified teachers and highly qualified in their area of expertise. Visit our "Meet the Tutors" section to view more details about each KLP tutor.
Group Sessions for Fall, Spring, and Summer are available now!
